This one is personal. I had the honor of getting to remaster The Guilty Bystanders'
"Inflatable Party Sheep" album. It was the first item I recall buying on my first visit to Wyatt Earp Records
and it remains one of my favorite albums. It's difficult to find a band associated with the Michigan punk scene in the mid-1980s
that had the range in style, originality, creativity and solid songwriting ability the Guilties showcased on this album. It was
an awesome introduction for me and many others into the underground music scene of the time that allowed us to think beyond a one dimensional
approach to music as most of us were at an impressionable age. I was also intrigued and inspired by the liner notes and packaging of the album.
Great care was taken with it as a DIY effort and no doubt influenced this archive decades later.
Also be sure check out the terrific new album by Steve Vamossy's current band "Gymkata" as well as the new Smiling Sacrifice live album!
The entries for Genocide and Repulsion have also been updated to show their officially licensed playlists as they pertain to the "Horrified"
collection. For example, if you select Genocide's "Violent Death" demo, the playlist that displays will be set to start at the
start of that portion of the collection. Just hit Play and you're good to go.
