Flint Underground Music Archive

This archive documents the history of the Flint, Genesee County and Mid-Michigan underground local music scene. The collection includes free audio and video files of local punk, rock and alternative garage and DIY bands and musicians to stream and download. Legendary promotors, such as Wyatt Earp Record Store owner Doug Earp and Joel Rash, produced hall shows at the Kishma Grotto, Capitol Theatre, Local 432 and Prospect Hall, to name a few. This digital library includes accounts of the scene at 710 Avon St. in the 1980s through the 1990s, where even Michael Moore makes an appearance.
